1. Overview

IndieLoop provides multiple advertising spaces across the website where indie developers can promote their games. Each advertising location has its own pricing, size, and duration options. Ad spaces operate on a sponsorship basis and are booked on a first-come, first-served schedule.

2. Initial Inquiry

Developers interested in advertising begin by contacting:

advertise@indieloop.net

This email initiates the sponsorship request and allows developers to receive detailed information.

3. Receive Sponsorship Packet

Once the inquiry is received, IndieLoop will send a Sponsorship Packet containing:

  • Available ad placement locations
  • Pricing for each placement
  • Display duration options
  • Technical requirements (image dimensions, formats, file size)
  • Content guidelines
  • Scheduling availability
  • Submission and payment instructions

This packet provides all details needed to choose an ad slot and prepare the necessary materials.

4. Select Desired Ad Placement

Developers choose their preferred advertising placement(s), such as:

  • Homepage banner
  • Sidebar placements
  • In-article ad blocks
  • Featured game highlight sections
  • Newsletter or announcement placements (if offered)

Each placement has limited availability and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Submit Advertising Materials

Developers provide:

  • Final ad graphic(s) in the required formats
  • Target URL for click-through
  • Any copy or text required for the ad
  • Confirmation of sponsorship selection

Materials must meet the technical and content guidelines outlined in the Sponsorship Packet.

6. Review & Approval

IndieLoop reviews all submitted materials to ensure:

  • Proper sizing and formatting
  • No prohibited or inappropriate content
  • Accurate and non-misleading claims
  • Suitability for the IndieLoop audience

If revisions are needed, the developer will be asked to update the materials before scheduling begins.

7. Payment & Booking Confirmation

Once the materials are approved:

  • An invoice is issued for the selected placement(s)
  • Payment confirms the booking
  • The final display schedule is provided, including start and end dates

Ad slots are not reserved until payment is complete.

8. Ad Deployment

  • Ads are hosted locally on IndieLoop servers (not through third-party ad networks) to help prevent ad-blocking and ensure consistent display.
  • The advertisement goes live on the scheduled date.
  • Ads remain active for the full duration purchased.

9. Campaign Completion

At the end of the display period:

  • The ad is removed from the active rotation
  • Developers may choose to renew or purchase additional placements
  • Performance metrics may be provided if available (optional depending on your setup)

10. Renewal or Future Sponsorships

Developers can contact IndieLoop anytime to secure future placements. Returning sponsors may receive early access to availability or additional options, depending on your future plans.
